Intelgenx Technologies Corp. names VP of business development
IntelGenx Technologies Corporation recently named James Wittenberg vice president of business development. Wittenberg, R.Ph., M.S., has more than 20 years of experience providing market research and business development for pharmaceutical companies. Previously, he served Schwarz Pharma as its director of business development. Wittenberg, a registered pharmacist, earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin. IntelGenx is a drug-delivery company that develops oral controlled-release products and new rapidly disintegrating delivery systems. The firm's research and development pipeline encompasses products for treating pain management, hypertension, smoking cessation, and osteoarthritis.



Ramsey joins Gateway Energy as director of business development
Craig Ramsey has been appointed Gateway Energy Corporation's director of business development. Ramsey, an MBA, has more than 20 years of experience in business development, M&A, project evaluation, and analysis. Recently, he served as a production-area customer consultant for Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation. In this position, he handled commercial responsibilities for onshore and offshore pipeline systems in Mississippi, Alabama, and East Louisiana. Gateway Energy provides natural gas gathering, transportation, and distribution systems and allied amenities in Texas and offshore Texas and in the federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The firm also appointed Mark Brandon manager of engineering and operations. The hirings are part of operations management and business development expansion.

ATC names Chuck Floyd director of business development
Long-range-acoustic-hailing-and-warning-device (LRAD-R) developer American Technology Corporation (ATC) has appointed Charles Floyd to head its business development activities in Washington, DC. Floyd will concentrate on military business and homeland security for ATC. Floyd has more than 20 years of experience in the U.S. Army as a commander and joint-staff officer. Floyd has worked for Secretary Colin Powell at the U.S. Department of State as a congressional and business-affairs liaison and as the managing director (SES) of planning and development for the Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). He will handle the implementation of LRAD® products into a variety of government applications, particularly homeland security and military programs.
