At entry level this helps in creating a strong base in the sales field and provides valuable experience and foresight. One also needs to prepare monthly reports, maintain the business development database, detailed records of budgets and proposals, sales, prospective clients and their contacts and records of new clients. They need to give their best to promote sales and suggest changes in the plans with execution possibilities based on old promotional attempts.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in marketing along with work experience of a minimum of two years is the basic requirement. One also needs excellent communication skills- verbal, written and phone based; to reach across to the prospective clients. Having persuasive skills and hunter mentality to overcome customer hesitation and objections prove helpful. Good interpersonal skills, organizational and presentation skills are a must. One should also have leadership quality; innovative streak; and zeal to perform better using the resources wisely within the stipulated time.
