Robotics and Automation Manager

Deloitte Consulting s Human Capital practice is a leading global advisor and implementation partner working with companies, governments, and organizations around the world. Work you ll do

As a Deloitte Consulting Robotics and Automation Manager in the Rewards practice of Deloitte s Human Capital group, you will perform the following job responsibilities:

Deliver design solutions based on Cognitive and Process Automation principles

Use technical expertise and business acumen to develop innovative solutions to meet client needs

Lead teams in developing solutions using JAVA, .NET, Visual Basic, and automation tools including Automation Anywhere (AA), Blue Prism (BP), UiPath, Workfusion, or OpenSpan

Lead teams in high performance code reviews and troubleshooting of software development issues

Ability to lead teams to provide high performance code reviews and troubleshoot all software development issues

Ability to assist in the oversight of multiple ongoing projects specific to the project development lifecycle

Ability to multi-task and lead development teams to ensure timely software development deliverables

Drive and implement best practices

Lead and contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.

Responsible for business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, client presentations, etc.

Act in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of colleagues

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum six (6) years relevant experience in a consulting or industry role, with at least two (2) years relevant experience in an external consulting role

Minimum two (2) years of experience leading project teams on relevant engagements

Minimum six (6) years of Java, Visual Basic or .Net development experience

Minimum six (6) years of experience with MS SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, or any equivalent database background

Minimum one (1) year of robotics and cognitive experience using tools such as: Automation Anywhere (AA) , Blue Prism (BP), UiPath, Workfusion, or OpenSpan

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

Proven ability to consult and direct on clients software/network infrastructure including: servers, databases, applications, security, firewalls, and all other components when providing direction on software solutions

Demonstrated ability to translate technical software solutions to non-technical clients

Proven experience in business development in support of related specialty areas

Ability to travel 50-80%

Preferred:

Masters' degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

Previous experience mentoring, training and developing junior members of the team; experience in employee performance reviews

Ability to multi-task and lead development teams to ensure timely software development deliverables

Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
