IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner with subject matter expertise in Telecommunications, to drive and sustain growth in this Industry. In this senior leadership role, you will be accountable for the successful sales and delivery of business-driven solutions, collaborating with other IBM service lines. You will have direct involvement leading and selling first-of-a-kind solutions that combine IBM's Watson and Digital Reinvention capabilities with our Industry expertise to deliver solutions that fundamentally transform the customer experience.
Develop account plans as well as the relationship building strategy
Establish compelling points of view about trends and drivers within the Telecommunications Industry
Collaborate across various GBS service lines- Digital, IOT, Cognitive & Analytics, Cloud Application Innovation, Cognitive process services and IBM Watson Group to help develop use case-specific assets and accelerators that drive disruptive industry impact.
Lead account related pre-sales activities, assessments, and the delivery of transformational solutions
Establish and maintain deal focused, trusted relationships with senior leadership and partners to scope, solution, propose, close, and deliver complex first-of-a-kind projects
Hands-on development of deliverables utilizing emerging cognitive computing implementation methodologies
Assist in the growth and development of Telecommunications focused solutions by providing leadership and direction, contributing to the growth of intellectual capital in the industry and supporting the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities
Business case development, project and program management, proposal writing and business management
Represent IBM's point of view and strategy for the future at Industry forums and conferences.
Develop and lead IBM's sales and delivery teams.
Seattle, Washington is preferred, but all locations will be considered.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 5 years of experience leading and delivering complex large scale programs within the telecommunications industry
At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles with director level or senior manager reports
At least 3 years of experience in selling to C-suite executives of $3M / year
At least 5 years of experience managing and leading large teams
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 8 years of experience working for a Telecommunications company
At least 8 years of experience negotiating and selling consulting services projects
At least 8 years of experience in business development and sales of consulting services to C-suite executives of $5-6M / year
At least 8 years of experience in delivery of complex consulting service projects or complex transformations at a telecommunications company
At least 5 years of experience managing and leading teams
At least 3 years of experience working on engagements transforming customer experience using Digital and AI
