Job Summary

The Settlement Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting all aspects of sales for the company, while becoming a product and service specialist that drives and maintains new and existing clients. The position requires excellent phone and email skills with the ability to adapt correspondences to a wide variety of audiences, including attorneys, insurance claims adjusters, claimants/injured workers, and structured settlement brokers. The role works closely with the sales team, account management and operations support to help our clients facilitate outreach, settlement, and on-boarding of Members (injured parties). We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, ambitious and enjoys the dynamic environment of a fast growing and fun business.

Responsibilities and Duties

Superb customer service skills with the ability to adapt communications to multiple audiences

Comfortable with direct outreach to attorneys and injured workers based on leads

Ability to clearly communicate concise action plans, and present plans for moving cases through settlement

Meet or exceed quarterly quota objectives

Comfortable presenting through webinars and training courses to small and large groups

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.

Ability to leverage a variety of tools and skills to drive settlements with workers’ compensation plaintiff attorneys and insurance carriers on behalf of injured workers to have positive outcomes related to settlement.

Acumen to develop and maintain relationships with clients, as well as internal relationships, to ensure effective handling of the claim pre- and post-settlement

Organizational skills to assist in maintaining a consistent follow-up schedule with clients, attorneys and claimants

Must be willing to travel 2-3 times per month for training, mediation, and client visits (Within U.S.)

Attend client and networking events, including conferences, happy hours, and trade shows.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree

3+ years of work experience in customer service / inside sales / account management / workers’ compensation / legal support services

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Outgoing, highly interpersonal, influential personality

Highly collaborative team player

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi-task without getting overwhelmed

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Ability to work effectively remotely
