Senior Manager: Merch Supplier Experience If you're passionate about e-commerce and creating scalable processes that will drive our business and elevate customer, supplier, and employee experiences, we are looking for you to join our Product Catalog team. Senior Managers on our team must be able to transform data into insights and strategy to improve the throughput and quality of products in the Wayfair online catalog. They each lead a medium sized team of analysts and managers to help them improve upon the way we bring products to market. They work cross functionally with Executive Level Leadership, making appropriate project related tradeoffs across brands, and measuring success of the team\u2019s initiatives. This Specific Leader Will: Define and drive our roadmap (both process and tech) to streamline and optimize the Supplier Experience as it pertains to providing and adding and managing product data. A key deliverable will be to empower Suppliers to take an active role in managing their catalogs by reducing the barriers to entry for adding products, updating data or media, etc. and establishing a best in class analytics sharing platform to guide suppliers to invest in high ROI actions. Lead a team of 10 managers and analysts who directly support our supplier base. Examples of work done on the team are ensuring we have full competitive selection, triaging supplier questions when using the extranet, outreaching for key data points, administering supplier surveys to influence tech investments, etc. Work closely with senior managers across the organization to define and refine product content standards and quality targets while bringing the supplier voice to the table. Example Projects Include: Overhaul of Product Management Tools\u2013 review the current tool offering and work with Tech to streamline the pages, remove redundancy and inconsistency, simplify the UIs, etc. Understand how suppliers use the tools, what their pain points or gaps are, and how to best reach all users. Lead the Product Selection initiative to push forward the roadmap to ensure we have the most comprehensive selection in the market place by partnering with Competitive Intelligence, Tech, and our Merch team. Design and deliver reporting to our Category Management team and executive leadership. Distill information around feedback from suppliers using our tool sets to set the technology roadmap. Partner with the Supplier Extranet team to align the UX across pages and drive forward site wide improvements around usability and training. Job Requirements: 7 years management experience in ecommerce or a relevant operations field MBA from top tier school or equivalent experience Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results High comfort level with technology-driven environments Experience managing a large team in eCommerce or relevant operations field Process-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills Ability to think strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced organization Extremely collaborative and effective in a cross-functional environment Evidence of \u201cscrappy startup execution\u201d and how to \u2018get it done\u2019 attitude no matter what when time is tight and stakes are high Ability to manage through ambiguity, stress, adversity and conflict to establish focus and deliver against business goals Able to quickly learn necessary technical tools. Experience with SQL a plus.
