Job Description

This is a commissioned position. Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.

Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

The AI Business Development Manager for Government Vertical - will build upon and contribute to a world-class revenue generating team in the Government sector with focus on the Department of Defense. This individual will drive new business sales of Intel's AI offerings by utilizing a successful history of business development, sales, excellent team leadership and managerial skills and a passion for high impact performance to develop the right environment, processes and team that will foster sustained revenue expansion, market share and talent growth. The BDM will continue to enhance the sales capabilities through proper coaching, leveraging sales / production metrics, collaboration with internal partners and building / execution of a solid sales strategy for his/her industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex Big Data/Predictive Analytics/AI Technology Sales. In addition to being a strong leader, coach and mentor, they must be an excellent communicator who is highly motivated, passionate, and driven by the challenge of advancing a sales team, increasing sales and meeting / exceeding goals and objectives. The successful candidate will also possess a proven ability to plan, forecast, and manage resources. The position will report into the Global Head - Strategic

Role requires > 50% travel.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in Biz Dev on large DoD/Government accounts

Have or ability to quickly acquire DoD security clearances

Veteran – preferably an officer

Must have complete understanding of Government contract processes including but not limited to FAR, IDIQ, Sole Source etc.
