Senior Enterprise Data Strategy Manager','1720570','','Cox Automotive','!*!Job Summary: Cox Automotive is looking for a unique individual for the Enterprise Data Strategy team, responsible for defining how Cox Automotive will use and share highly valued company data assets. The Senior Manager serves as a knowledge resource for strategic data assets across Cox Automotive and is responsible for the day-to-day management of data syndication. In addition, the role supports the syndication of critical enterprise data and serves as a data resource for Cox Automotive. The position is also responsible for the partnership, thought leadership and helps with the execution of syndication strategies across all lines of business within Cox Automotive that will help grow the Cox Automotive business portfolio and thus increase its value. The position demands frequent interactions with all levels of the organization, both in the business unit itself and within corporate. Finally, this role partners closely with the Director of Data Strategy to manage and articulate the ongoing evolution of the overall CA Data Solutions Strategy and Roadmap as it pertains to data syndication.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and evolve an enterprise data strategy
Drive identification of strategic data assets and associated amortization (direct/indirect) strategy
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design, implement, and manage processes related to how the company will use, share, and syndicate strategic data assets
Establish usage rights and policies regarding enterprise data assets for CA Corporate and business units; provide oversight of process to manage relevancy of policies
Serve as a “go to” for strategic data assets
Define a contract strategy to enable internal use of data for the purpose of product innovation and client experience with Cox Automotive
Establish and maintain a repository for strategic data asset profiles
Execute data syndication strategy and manage ongoing data requests and usage
Develop a comprehensive understanding of strategic data sets (pricing, technical contacts, etc.)
Apply established enterprise principles and guidelines for data syndication
Provide ownership and accountability for end-to-end data syndication process
Develop an enterprise-wide process for syndicating data
Garner appropriate stakeholder input for data request approvals (clients and 3rd parties)
Provide oversight of routing and hand-offs between groups to fulfil data syndication requests
Work with Legal and other business partners to negotiate new agreements and renegotiate/terminate existing agreements related to data syndication as needed
Create and distribute reporting related to data syndication
Establish and maintain a repository for data syndication agreements','','','!*!REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
8 years of increasing and relevant experience in data strategy, business strategy, and/or related functions
Demonstrated advanced strategic and analytical skills and business acumen, evidenced by a proven track record in developing impactful, practical business/data strategies that have been implemented successfully
Academic background in business or related field; advanced degree preferred; business education a strong plus (e.g., MBA)
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with demonstrated experience communicating directly with Senior Executives
Track record of success establishing buy-in for ideas across functions and business units
Proven leadership skills in a global matrix environment, evidenced by obtaining results through cross-functional, cross-business unit efforts across different geographies and cultures
High degree of organization and experience managing many competing priorities
Strong negotiation skills
Proven ability to scope technical requirements for delivering measurement/analytics plans and products
