Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You\u2026 \u00b7Bachelor\u2019s degree required combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience within the building, architecture, and\/or the construction industry. \u00b7At least 5 years of sales or business development experience with the ability to identify opportunities and sell value-added solutions to the building community. \u00b7Keen understanding of the residential building construction industry. \u00b7Building science knowledge with consultative sales experience. \u00b7Building energy\/performance modeling is preferred \u00b7Ability to communicate with builders, read construction blueprints (plans), and work with stakeholders of different levels and abilities. \u00b7Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, communication, and analytical skills. \u00b7Highly motivated self-starter with team orientation. \u00b7Have a keen view of the market environment, including general trends impacting the construction business and competitive landscape dynamics. \u00b7Bilingual (English\/Spanish) skills are a plus.
