Job Description:

Develop short and long-term strategies and plans to maximize volume and profitability for all  product lines and channels at Pure Ecommerce accounts in partnership with the SAM, division sales and the cross-functional team.  Act as the category/project leader in all new product and portfolio management activities.  Work closely with cross-functional resources and prioritization to deliver against category objectives as well as the overall assigned division objectives. This role is distinguished by working more complex businesses and in having more involvement integrating marketing and distribution strategies across the business group.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and support the development of annual business plan and multi-year strategic plans with the divisions

Execute plans for assigned channels in close partnership with sales, operations, research and development and other functions

Act as the project leader/manager for business development and cost-savings initiatives, acting as the key cross-functional go-to person for project decisions, guidance, communication and management

Analyze business results and marketplace dynamics to provide ongoing growth and corrective action recommendations

Track competitive efforts and recommend adjustments to changing market conditions. 

Partner with internal cross functional team to understand key account strategies and identify and implement appropriate category management solutions for optimizing account performance.

Track ongoing sales channel development and adjust plans for fact-based selling directives

Work closely with divisional account sales to ensure proper and timely customer communication

Participate in developing and giving customer presentations

Analyze complex business data and situations and develops a range of solutions; analyzes secondary data to uncover insights, trends and root cause of change in category performance and channel/ customer performance

Use quantitative, qualitative and syndicated research to develop new product concepts and build the product pipeline

Provides advice and counsel to fellow employees, management, and senior management regarding Ecommerce philosophies, strategies, questions and concerns

Maintain and grow strong relationships with multiple levels within customer’s organization to expand Treehouse Portfolio. Conduct biweekly calls with customers, senior and project management teams

Develop short and long-term strategies and plans to maximize volume and profitability for assigned product lines and channels

Manage Ecommerce branded search campaigns – optimizing key word efficiency where applicable

Track and analyze search and ad placement returns

Influence cross-functional priorities and resource allocation to achieve volume and profit targets

Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of category data and segments to identify product and competitive strengths and weaknesses, identify growth opportunities and defense strategies as needed

Work closely with dedicated center supply chain lead and align on final forecast numbers with demand planning (including any revisions done by operations) and communicate confirmed forecast back to the customer, as appropriate

Take action with the customer to understand material/large deviations from agreed-upon forecasts reviewing metrics at least monthly; coordinates activities with internal partners to make necessary adjustments. Proactively address any potential or active DDD liabilities

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (List all required):

Bachelor’s Degree required;  Emphasis in Marketing/Business preferred.

Minimum 5 years of business experience in sales or related field

Strong business and financial acumen; previous P&L management experience/exposure highly preferred

Applicable knowledge of syndicated data and market research techniques

Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to meet project timelines and communicate effectively to cross-functional stakeholders

Must possess strategic thinking, leadership, teamwork and analytical skills

Creativity and effective interpersonal communication skills required

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work effectively across the organization and foster cross-functional teamwork

Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

High comfort level with ambiguity and change

Ability to transform insights and analytics into customized strategic account plans for deliver growth

MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SharePoint

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Required / Master's degree preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of.

Travel requirements:

Approximately 25% to various THS locations, customers and industry events.
