In addition to being responsible for sales in the Mid-Atlantic Region, this role will also be responsible for contributing to key strategic growth and agency distribution initiatives. This person will drive new business premium through identifying and building strong business relationships with key distribution partners and clients in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This person will also contribute by using their sales and Accident market expertise to help shape our product and distribution expansion strategies across the U.S.n nn Identify and meet in person with prospective distribution partners to help expand the Berkley A&H footprint in Mid-Atlantic Region.n Generate and manage a strong pipeline of accounts and new distribution opportunities with the goal of meeting or exceeding an annual new business premium and profitability goals.n Collaborate with Marketing and Underwriting to execute sales strategy within the territory.n Attend in person broker meetings, conferences and networking events.n Solicit and share feedback from distribution with underwriting, marketing and operational support teams.n Deliver consistent excellent customer service in line with our brand promise.n Strategize with BAH Captive and ESL partners, in addition to other WR Berkley companies, to uncover multiple cross sell opportunities.n Be a key contributor to the development and execution of our national strategic growth initiatives.n In collaboration with the President, identify, recruit and train new sales team members.nnQualificationsnn Bachelorsu2019 Degree or equivalent working experience.n Minimum 10 years of insurance sales experience, preferably A&H experience.n Passion and a track record of building your business, exceptional discipline and self-motivation puts success in your control.n Incredible empathy and understanding of the needs of our customers, both insureds and their agents alike.n Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Your communication style is flexible to the situation. You communicate clearly and with a purpose and are at ease presenting to a group.n Calm under pressure. You have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks. You are comfortable challenging norms while working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.n You have a strong sense of accountability, fun and adventure.n You are known for and take great pride in your responsiveness.n Natural curiosity.
