**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. has an immediate opening for a Proposal Coordinator. This position is a direct report to the Proposals Director. The primary duty is to provide administrative and document development support to the Proposal Manager(s), and requires great organizational capability and attention to detail. Responsibilities include ordering production supplies, managing equipment, and using word-processing, desktop publishing, and graphic design skills to assist Proposal Managers in development of proposals, responses to Sources Soughts and Requests for Information, briefings, business development reports, and marketing materials. In addition to great organizational capability, the Coordinator should have good writing and editing skills in order to assume writing and editing tasks as assigned, and help to review proposals to ensure compliance. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment that requires a high degree of accuracy and the ability to prioritize and accomplish numerous simultaneous tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with Proposal Manager(s), teaming partners, consultants, and all personnel involved in the proposal process;
Work with suppliers to maintain production room supplies;
Manage maintenance and supplies for copier, printers, and other production equipment;
Collect, organize, format, and edit document content;
Develop tables of contents, glossaries, lists of tables/figures and cross-reference matrices;
Develop tables, charts, and other illustrations.
Complete contract Standard Forms, such as SF 30s, 33s, and 1449s;
Manage the proposal production effort, including development of tabs, covers, and title pages; printing and shipment;
Organize the BD Library, both electronic and hard copy;
Write documents as assigned, assuming primary responsibility for contract “Fact Sheets” including updating them as contract details change;
Assume increasing responsibility for writing Sources Soughts and Requests for Information, as well as proposal Performance Volumes as company experience expands;
Participate in Business Development planning and coordination meetings;
Perform other related duties as required..

Job Requirements :
Required:
BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, English, or Journalism, and 2 years experience in document development, OR 3 years of experience in proposal development/writing.
Experience in proposal efforts in a government contracting environment is desired.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral, written communication, and time management skills.
Must be analytical with attention to detail, task-oriented, self-motivated and have the inherent ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines and work as a team member.
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite Programs Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project and have a working knowledge of Excel, Desktop Publishing, and Graphic Design..
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel management, leadership, motivation, supervision, conflict management, and implementation of company-wide policies & procedures.
Strong technical writing skills and working knowledge of the administrative research, techniques and methods of informative report preparation.
Working knowledge of project organization, coordination, management, and controls.
Able to analyze problems quickly and accurately and adopt effective courses of action.
Demonstrative exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with Clients, Senior Management, Board of Directors and Staff
Ability to review or check the work products of others to ensure conformance to standards.
Ability to travel as work load and schedule demands

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
