Farm Journal Media is seeking a National Account Manager responsible for selling multimedia platforms through the achievement of creative ideas and understanding of client and agency needs. This position serves as a direct connection between our client and advertising agency base and new clients, and is responsible for generating new business as well as keeping up with existing customers (renewals, data and advertising opportunities etc.) The National Account Manager will address all client needs related to the sales process and create new sales opportunities. Success will be measured by sales quotas by prospecting over the phone, email, industry events, face to face and building rapport with new and existing clients. This position reports to the Sales Manager for the Row Crops division, and is located in Farm Journal's Sales Offices in Rosemont, Il. The right candidate may also work from a remote home office. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThese duties include, but are not limited to, the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)Exceed annual sales quotasProvide prompt phone and email follow up to clients and staffMaintain and expand company database of prospectsSet up and deliver sale presentations, web tours and other sales actions When necessary support selling efforts at trade shows, exhibits and other industry related eventsMaintain and utilize our CRM daily for all sales activities including new sales and opportunitiesWork with a team of experts to sell multiple media, events and database solutions
