Schedule -Full-time Job -Professional Non-Clinical Daily Schedule-8am-5pm Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period-80 Weekends Required-None This position, also known as our Network Development Consultant, contributes to the fulfillment of CHI Health\u2019s Mission and Vision by supporting the development and implementation of a regional \/ rural network strategy to ensure that CHI Health and affiliated rural healthcare organizations and providers are supported and able to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care to their patients. As a result, CHI Health and its aligned networks will become the partners of choice for critical access hospitals (CAHs), community-based acute care facilities, physicians and patients across the region. This position\u2019s primary location will be at CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, NE. FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performs regional outreach and network development efforts and maintains high visibility in the regional \/ rural health communities and markets. Contributes to a continuous market surveillance of trends and developments in the regional \/ rural market, collaborating with key leaders across CHI Health, UniNet and Prairie Health Ventures and their affiliates. Performs and supports strategies and network development actions to augment market intelligence, to develop leads, and to facilitate business development opportunities and relations in select markets. Actively participates in regional outreach and network development efforts meeting with Hospital CEO's, physicians and others across the region to develop positive relationships with CHI Health and aligned networks that support the regional\/rural facilities needs while facilitating CHI Health goals including the creation of a positive image and brand across the region. Conveys the vision of CHI Health, the concept of clinical integration, and the breadth of CHI Health programs and services to others in a compelling manner. Cultivates strategic relationships with internal CHI Health constituents and build new relationships with external providers, provider networks and partners to promote CHI Health goals. Facilitates growth and participation in the CHI Health CIN, UniNet. Facilitates growth of telehealth and virtual services throughout region with CHI Health, finding new ways to connect providers and consumers of care through electronic and digital technology and methods. Develops and manages the creation of new and innovative solutions to support rural healthcare. Works with CHC and TPN to recruit and expand primary and specialty care services throughout the region and aligning physicians, employed or affiliated with CHI Health and UniNet in regional markets. Develops and maintains community partnerships, relationships and participation in regional \/ rural health communities and activities. Advocates specifically on CAH and Rural Health issues. Supports management reporting to provide the system with timely and relevant information on all aspects of assigned functions. Collaborates with all elements of the system to provide a seamless, patient-integrated continuum of healthcare services. KNOWLEDGE\/SKILLS\/ABILITIES: Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree in health care, business, marketing or a related field required. An advanced degree preferred, but not required. A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in business development and\/or healthcare operations, sales and\/or account management required (An equivalent combination of education and\/or experience will be considered.) Experience in rural healthcare operations desirable, but not required. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to master complex issues, think creatively, and develop and implement innovative and comprehensive strategies and solutions. Candidates must have excellent analytical and communication skills, including written and oral, and be a team player who can effectively work across internal and external organizations Working Conditions Frequent travel required between hospitals, clinic sites, and communities across the region. 30-50% travel. Normal office environment.Routine periods of sitting, walking and standing are required.Occasionally lifting and pushing.
