And our culture of innovation means your ideas on how to improve our business and your clients will be heard.Deloitte s health care practice represents organizations, both public and private, that are responsible for the delivery, funding and payment management of health care and medical related services.A Manager at Deloitte in the Health Care Provider Technology Strategy / Transformation practice is expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including: Client Management: Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors Project Delivery: Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, assess, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for health care organizations. Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in technology capability assessments and strategies, client solution definition and identification of business requirements, vendor selections, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures. Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into project staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.Qualifications Health Care Managers in the Technology Strategy / Transformation practice are required to have: 5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience with a minimum of 4 years healthcare industry experience3 years of experience in IT strategy or IT management rolesDemonstrated prior experience in managing teams of 3 resources through design, development, and/or operations of complex technology strategy environmentsA willingness to travel 80% of the timeDemonstrated prior experience in managing technology assessments and developing strategic recommendationsAbility to articulate leading health care business issues and trends, including the associated technology implicationsDemonstrated experience in business process improvement, leveraging information and technologyDevelopment of business-outcome focused IT Strategy and Enterprise Architectures in complex health care environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills, particularly at the C-level, executive/senior management and with clinical leadersDemonstrated experience in workshop design and facilitation and other forms of client interviews and enquiriesKnowledge of future health care industry trends and their implications for information and technology such as value based care, MACRA, precision medicine, and networked care modelsKnowledge of the typical information systems and technology environments within health care provider organizations, along with a high-level understanding of key vendor productsDemonstrated ability to develop conceptual and logical architectural representations that are understandable to business and technical audiencesDemonstrated experience in development of enterprise roadmaps that clearly articulate the journey from as is to to be and convey the business value of investmentsDemonstrated experience in modelling of business/clinical benefits and investment/costs of information and technology investmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong people leadership, planning and management skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple task assignmentsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgmentBachelor's Degree In addition, successful Managers in the Technology Strategy / Transformation practice should have the following desired background:Experience working in a relevant technical role, either with another consultancy, with a vendor or within an enterprise IT teamExperience with IT organization design and management principles/techniquesKnowledge of emerging health care technologies and the broader digital health (eHealth) environment in commercial healthcare settingsClinical experience and exposure to healthcare technologies in a clinical settingEagerness to mentor junior staffAn advanced degree in the area of specialization Our practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects covering the entire lifecycle from planning through to design, development and the deployment of solutions.
