Three-fourths of America’s small business owners are confident about the future of their own business, according to the National Small Business Association, or NSBA.
But 67% said their business has been negatively affected by the credit crunch, up from 55% in January. Business owners report worsening credit terms and outstanding
bank loans.
The good news is that 49% have seen an increase in gross sales, and 58% anticipate further
sales increases.
The survey also found that small business owners are turning to the Internet as a growth strategy.
Thirty percent expect to increase headcount through new hires in the next year.
