Entry-level jobs are available to those individuals with little or no experience, but which provide training and prospect of future advancement. Entry-level business development jobs provide training and experience in sales and marketing, and the prospect of advancement into executive management programs.

It is the responsibility of an entry-level business development candidate to work under the supervision of the business development manager or supervisor, while learning the fundamentals of sales and customer relationship responsibilities like public relations, customer service, advertising, event marketing etc. Other duties include planning marketing and presentation activities, identifying client needs and selling to existing clients.

Entry-level business development jobs generally require a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, business studies or similar fields, from an accredited institute. Candidate should exhibit an attitude to learn new skills, be enthusiastic about participating in training programs and should be willing to begin his career at entry-level management.
