Business Development Consultant Jobs description

A business development consultant must be ready to travel extensively as and when necessary to develop relationships for and thereby develop the business of the given company. Business development consultants must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The business development consultant must also possess good PR skills in order to understand a customer's requirements and be persuasive enough to close a deal on the spot. A business development consultant typically reports to the CEO of a client company -- thus, proper knowledge of presentations, Microsoft Office, and other office tools are mandatory.

An individual wishing to work as a business development consultant should possess a bachelor's degree. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or knowledge is also desired by most employers.
